Description
The Candle Stand is a Shaker icon. Note the elongated “wine-bottle” post and the graceful springing legs, which are tapered both in thickness and length. An almost identical stand dated from 1800–1840 is owned by the Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
This historic handmade piece makes an enchanting night stand, end table or accent table. Crafted of North American hardwood chosen for figure, color and traditionally joined; this Shaker Candle Stand will keep its integrity and beauty for generations.
